How to Create a New Spring Makeup Look With NARS


I recently had the pleasure of previewing the new Spring Collection from NARS. Boy was it an event! DryBar was there giving hair touch ups and braids. Absolut was there mixing up cocktails for us to try which were super delish. 


 AND celebrity Makeup Artist, Saffire Cherry, was there to do a demonstration on one of my lovely fellow influencers. You can find them on Instagram @rockfruitcaligirl and @stilettosandsincity. 

 She started with a base using NARS new foundations and concealers. A little tip, apply with your fingers to get the best, flawless texture. 

 She then applied blush; liquid in Hot Tin Roof, bronzer and a blush/highlighter combo in Free Soul. This liquid blush is AMAZING and looks great on all skin types. These are all new products from the Spring Collection.

 The new "Wanted" palette is to DIE for. It has a mixture of matte and shimmer eyeshadows. The darkest color, can be used as an eyeliner, making this palette your go to "on the go" palette. 

 Lastly, Saffire applied the new Lip Cover in Summer Fire. They come in 4 gorgeous shades; Embrasse Moi, Under Arrest, Summer Fire, Hell Gate

 Head to your nearest NARS and get color matched for the new foundation and pick up some of these Spring items. Everyone LOVES the "Wanted" palette and you will too!

Affordable Lingerie for Valentine's Day

Gypsy Mermaid in the Desert

When you were born near the ocean and love it with all your soul; living in the desert can be a struggle. However, over the last year I've discovered that Las Vegas has some amazing scenery outside of the city. We have some beautiful hiking trails, historical sites, parks, and venues. One of my favorite places is a little park by my house that has some interesting terrain; man-made pond, green grass, a running/biking trial, and random parts of the desert.
