Makeup In The 702 Lipstick Bar Premier

 
I recently had the pleasure of attending an event at Sugar Factory Las Vegas for Makeup In The 702 Lipstick Bar premiere. Makeup In The 702 is a local company that specializes in 5 star hair and makeup services, either on location or in their studio.
 
The Lipstick Bar was created to be an "event inside your event." Any event such as birthday parties, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, or divorce parties can have a Lipstick Bar. Think of it this way, men have cigar bars or shot bars at weddings or bachelor parties, ladies can have a lipstick bar.
 
 
 
So what happens at a Lipstick Bar? The staff of Makeup In The 702 will do a lipstick reading for each guest. This is where the makeup artists apply a gloss to the lips and have the guest kiss a card. According to the shape of your lips when you kiss, it describes some personality characteristics. There are four different categories: creative/romantic, stubborn/affectionate, generous/good with kids, and negotiator/open-minded.  Which one do you think you are???
 
 
 

 The lipstick brand that is used by Makeup In The 702 is an exclusive, private label brand. However, it is not for sale.

How cute are these shirts the makeup artists were wearing during the event!? I need to get myself one! 

Getting ready for my own lipstick reading. According to how I "kiss," I'm generous and good with kids! Not exactly what I thought I was going to be. I was hoping more for creative and romantic, but the proof is in the kiss.  
There was even a brave gentleman that had a lipstick reading. Kudos to him! P.S. I'm totally loving this color on him. And apparently he is too!


After everyone had their lipstick readings, the makeup artists applied a fresh, new, beautiful color to the guests. They were then directed to kiss the canvas and write their name next to it. Here you can see a few guests "kissing." 
 
 
 And of course no event would be complete at Sugar Factory without some of their amazingly over the top milk shakes. This one had loads of cotton candy garnishing it.
 

 This was such a fun event and I totally love the idea of having a Lipstick Bar at any event or party. If you are a Las Vegas local or maybe coming to town for a Bachelorette party and would like to add something unique to your "ladies night" or "girls night out/in" contact the wonderful ladies at Makeup In The 702.

How to Create a New Spring Makeup Look With NARS

I recently had the pleasure of previewing the new Spring Collection from NARS. Boy was it an event! DryBar was there giving hair touch ups and braids. Absolut was there mixing up cocktails for us to try which were super delish.  AND c elebrity Makeup Artist, Saffire Cherry, was there to do a demonstration on one of my lovely fellow influencers. Affordable Lingerie for Valentine's Day

If you're like me, you don't need a reason to shop for something fabulous such as lingerie. However, when the occasion presents it's self, I do love to buy lingerie.
