Best Day Spa Off The Strip

Westgate is one the oldest and most famous hotels in Las Vegas. Located off the strip next to the Las Vegas Convention Center, making it easy to access and get to without having to deal with the traffic of Las Vegas Blvd. World famous celebrities such as Elvis, James Dean, and Johnny Cash used to frequent this hotel and it was THE hotel to stay at in the early days of Las Vegas. Westgate not only has rich history but has an amazing on site Full service salon, spa and fitness center.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the Serenity Spa at Westgate. They offer services like massages, facials, pedicures and manicures. With the purchase of one of these services, the amenities of the spa can be used all day. The spa has two different hot tubs, a steam room, a sauna, a showering area, and a lounge to relax in while waiting for your services. The salon and spa uses all natural, organic and some vegan products (they have some great vegan nail polishes). Outside of the nail salon area, there is a cute indoor/outdoor seating area.

After a day at the spa, be sure to stop by Sid's Cafe for lunch. They have the largest cinnamon roll I've ever seen, and also a wide range of items on their menu.

Gypsy Mermaid in the Desert

When you were born near the ocean and love it with all your soul; living in the desert can be a struggle. However, over the last year I've discovered that Las Vegas has some amazing scenery outside of the city. We have some beautiful hiking trails, historical sites, parks, and venues.
