Vegas Lifestyle Influencers Event at Culinary Dropout

I recently had the pleasure of attending a blogger event this week at Culinary Dropout hosted by the Vegas Lifestyle Influencers. Culinary Dropout is located inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino here in Las Vegas. I've lived here for over 4 years and this have become one of my favorite restaurants. My go to menu items are the steamed mussels with sausage and ahi tuna salad. They have amazing craft cocktails such as Pistols at Dawn, which happens to be my favorite; bourbon with bitters, ginger beer, and cabernet.

During the event, we were presented with some amazing dishes like a salmon charcuterie plate, kale and avocado salad, soft and warm pretzel bites with beer cheese, shrimp and chicken skewers, bbq ribs where the meat practically falls off the bone, and apple cinnamon monkey break with vanilla ice cream for dessert. If I didn't love Culinary Dropout before, they have my heart now! This is a "must" stop on your travels to Las Vegas. They also have locations in Austin, Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale.

A blogger event would not be complete without some awesome swag. Air Repair provided us with an amazing moisturizer that has now become my go to (product review coming later). Treat Beauty gave us some super awesome, oversized chapsticks made from USDA certified organic coconut oil, which I am obsessed with! Peridot Sweets, a local bakery, donated super cute cake pops. They even had glitter on them and were delish! Can't wait for next months event!

Gypsy Mermaid in the Desert

When you were born near the ocean and love it with all your soul; living in the desert can be a struggle. However, over the last year I've discovered that Las Vegas has some amazing scenery outside of the city. We have some beautiful hiking trails, historical sites, parks, and venues. One of my favorite places is a little park by my house that has some interesting terrain; man-made pond, green grass, a running/biking trial, and random parts of the desert.
